Frequently asked questions/ 07

Everything to know before you apply.

Answers to the questions future students and their parents ask most.

I have a foreign school-leaving qualification, can I apply?

Yes. SUP2I welcomes holders of foreign school-leaving qualifications, whether from the French system, an English-speaking system or another. Your file is assessed case by case to confirm equivalence and place you on the right cycle. State your school system in the application form and our team will get back to you.

What are the application deadlines?

Admissions run in several sessions, from March to September 2026. Because places on the engineering cycle are limited, we process files as they arrive: the earlier you apply, the better your chances of securing a place and an early interview slot.

Are there scholarships or financial support?

Yes. SUP2I offers merit scholarships and enrolment support, as well as staged payment arrangements. Find the schemes and their conditions on our dedicated Scholarships page.

Can I join through direct entry (equivalence)?

Absolutely. With a two-year higher education qualification (DUT, BTS, DEUG, CPGE) you can join the engineering cycle through direct entry, or start the third year of a bachelor’s. Prior learning is assessed according to your background and specialisation. State your level in the form and attach your transcripts.

What happens after I send my application?

Our committee reviews your file and you receive a clear answer within 48 hours by email. If your profile is shortlisted, we arrange a guidance and motivation interview, by video or on site, then support you through to final enrolment and settling in.

Which documents should I prepare?

To complete your enrolment: a signed application file, a copy of your school-leaving qualification and transcripts, proof of identity (national ID card or passport), an up-to-date CV, two passport photos, and, for direct entry, the qualifications and transcripts from your higher education studies. Everything is uploaded online, in PDF, JPG or PNG format.
